Natural Drycleaners BLANC Take Natural Cleaning Movement Into London’s Fashionable Chelsea

Third concept store enables Eco and Health Conscious consumers to avoid toxicity of conventional fabric cleaning, and to prolong the life of their wardrobe.

LONDON, United Kingdom, September 28th, 2017 — Residents of Chelsea who wish to preserve their health, the environment, and the life of their clothes now have a sustainable alternative to conventional dry cleaners – which still use the toxic and carcinogenic chemical PERC (Perchloroethylene), banned in some countries. BLANC  instead combines modern precision technology with gentle and artisan care which results in a softer, fresh finish perfect for delicate fabrics such as cashmere and silks. And until the end of October, BLANC are offering 50% off cleaning to customers making first visits to their concept store.

BLANC’s established stores have proven popular in Notting Hill and Marylebone, with a relaxing boutique feel, chic clean living home decor inspiration, expert advice on both biodegradable home cleaning products and professional fabric care. This combination has made a BLANC a favourite of titles such as Vogue, Elle, Vanity
Fair, and the Evening Standard, as well as many designer fashion brands who partner with BLANC exclusively for all their cleaning and tailoring.

Most people, unless they have sensitive skin, don’t realise how harmful the dry cleaning process is,” explains BLANC co-founder Mathilde Blanc. “So it’s been wonderfully rewarding to be able to introduce people to a healthier way to clean for their family, a way that’s kinder to our planet – and simultaneously show them how
much softer and fresher their clothes come back. We care passionately about quality, nature and health and it’s been amazing to see how many other people share our values and are helping us spread the word.”

French Expat Mathilde founded BLANC 4 years ago with husband Ludovic after they both worked at JP Morgan but shared a desire to leave a legacy of sustainability and positivity. Cleaning up a toxic industry while expressing Mathilde’s penchant for style, design and fashion made setting up the first truly eco-friendly and stylish
professional cleaning and home decor chain a perfect venture.

The Chelsea store opens its doors at 9am on 29th September at 85 Lower Sloane Street, London SW1W 8DA. Based a stone’s throw from the King’s Road and Sloane Street, it also opens up new collection and delivery slots throughout South West London, which can be booked online or by phone.
