Fortress Networx: Veteran IT Company Gets a Technology Refresh

Home2Office Computing Solutions, Inc., DBA C3 Networx, officially spins off commercial services division, creating new entity focused on cybersecurity for business: Fortress Networx, LLC

With its recent award of a Prime U.S. Navy Contract, Home2Office Computing Solutions, Inc. (DBA C3 Networx) has decided to spin off its commercial services division. “There are a number of auditing and accounting requirements that complicated the management of our two divisions as a single company, and as we continue to mature it just seemed to be in the best interest of our clients, employees and industry partners to make each division its own separate entity,” said Edmon Hagee, CEO of C3 Networx.

Since C3 Networx/Home2Office must retain its existing EIN, name, and corporate identity related to its SDVOSB (Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business) status, the commercial division was presented with the challenge of establishing a new company name and identity.

It wasn’t difficult, really; it took about two or three days to formalize our new company name,” said Martin Grunburg, president of Fortress Networx. “We’d just finished a quarterly strategy meeting in which we painted a vision for enhanced cybersecurity practices, services and solutions for our commercial clients. The cybersecurity landscape has changed dramatically in the last few years, and many IT solutions providers are trying to solve today’s threats with the same old technology and solutions that just don’t work effectively.”

Grunburg cites an alarming trend: “Cyber breaches and ransomware attacks are at an all-time high, and at least 50% of these attacks are aimed at small businesses. Just look at the recent major breaches: the NSA, Equifax, Office of Personnel Management, Target, Yahoo … pick your story. Not to be too alarmist, but nearly every person reading this has already been breached – whether they know it or not.”

Today’s vulnerabilities are shaping the future of Fortress Networx. “We’ve unveiled nearly a half dozen new solutions and technologies and will be offering more soon. So our new name and brand, Fortress Networx, represents our service intentions perfectly now and will into the foreseeable future,” Grunburg explains.

While all the terms of the separation were not disclosed, Grunburg retains sole ownership and operation of the commercial services division along with the same technology team and talent. The commercial services division is a former two-time Better Business Bureau Torch Award Winner for Marketplace Ethics. For more information, visit: www.fortressnetworx.com.
