Software development company GuideSmiths are quickly establishing themselves as a key player in the software development arena.

The company was formed by CEO Glenn O’Grady in 2014. Having worked in the software development sector for several years Glenn saw many projects fail because of flawed delivery processes. His vision was to deliver high-quality software in a timely and effective way.

Since then the company has gone on to enjoy major successes using both onshore and nearshore resources. They have delivered software to the world’s most widely used news website, MailOnline, the most popular website in the world for teachers, TES Global , a major Hungarian pharmaceutical manufacturer, Gedeon Richter Ltd, and utility pioneer Hive to name but a few.

GuideSmiths has big plans for future growth. They kick off this spring with a revamped website which now includes a case study section enabling them to showcase their work.

The team is growing and consists of 50+ experienced developers located in London, Spain and Hungary. They have also recruited Commercial Director Mike Newall and Business Manager Maria Batet. Mike Newall was a former client of GuideSmiths and comments, “As a former client I was really impressed by the GuideSmiths unique approach. When the opportunity to join the team arose I didn’t hesitate. I wanted to work for a successful company that actually takes the time to understand the sector and business needs of each and every client”
