Over 30 Jobs Created with Online Retailer Merger

2 Existing Online Retailers Merge Under Wido Banner

Beauty4Less and Shelving Centre officially announce their merger with the new group trading under the Wido banner. The merger creates an e-commerce retailer selling everything from home essentials, cement mixers, toys, industrial shelving, and salon supplies – a real one-stop-shop.

Beauty4Less, trading since 2014, specialised in the sale of salon furniture and supplies to the beauty trade. It was an e-commerce business trading through its own website, eBay and Amazon stores. While Shelving Centre was the UK’s leading supplier of industrial duty garage shelving.

Both businesses were run by the same team of people under the leadership of CEO, Ian Fisher. The decision was taken to merge the two businesses under the name Wido, pronounced “we-do”, with the aim of creating an online business selling a diverse range of products.

At its head office in Nottingham, the new merger has created over 30 jobs, including several jobs across their design, marketing, e-commerce, and customer service departments. Investment in a new warehouse has provided further jobs from management roles to pickers and packers.

Ian Fisher, CEO of Wido, said “The recent merger has allowed us to increase efficiencies and bring on a number of new staff members to join the Wido family. After significant investment in our infrastructure, staff and product portfolio, we have ambitious growth plans as we continue to expand our product offering on a weekly basis with over 300 new lines planned before the end of 2019.”
