Ricky Dale releases new ghost story with a difference

DEVON, UK; 24 January 2021 – With his fifth novel, ” I knew the bride when she used to Rock n Roll, Ricky Dale has created a ghost story with a difference.

Based largely upon true happenings, Dale has no need to run the gamut of pastiche and pulp to parody – which is sometimes true of novels in this genre. Instead, this novel is an original work but one that isn’t overtly ‘scary’. One that some may describe as ‘the most charming and enjoyable emotional clout you are ever likely to undergo…in this life!’

Undeniably shocking; unbelievably captivating; indisputably ghostly…

“I knew the bride when she used to Rock n Roll,” could be described as ‘Poltergeist meets the Sixth Sense’, written with such badass zeal that it lightens up the darkness of the novel’s nature and leaves its fictional reality to the readers own interpretation.

Author Ricky Dale was born in England and raised in West Africa and North America. A former musician, Ricky’s singing career began in 1959 and he became known for his individual style and heartfelt rendering of ballads, and the contrast of his wild Rock ’n Roll. He once duetted with the sheer genius Danny Kaye and performed with international crooners like the great Johnnie Ray.

He was also MD of several innovative companies in the West of England for 21 years, but now spends his time writing.

His previous novels have included his Limberlost trilogy; a semi-autobiographical series which takes the reader on a journey from snowbound northern Ontario to the heights of Manhattan across a 100-year period, and Cloudburst – a uniquely controversial insight into the fact-based account of lovers Dahlia Carriera and Sandra Comanescu together with a rebranding of Cosa Nostra.

Ricky Dale’s Books are available from Amazon, Waterstones and other online booksellers.
