You may have seen the recruitment communication for Cohort 2 of our 100 Leaders initiative. The programme is a way for the Trust to invest and deliver in our leaders now and for the future.

Your feedback has told us that you’d like to hear more about the benefits and what is involved in becoming part of the programme. 100 leaders is a six-month development initiative dedicated to working with our future Trust leaders.

You will work in packs of 10, with one pack leader per group, to brainstorm and implement a courageous change project. The projects should aim to improve the services we offer to both staff and patients. If you have ever had a fleeting thought or discussion about how to improve our Trust, this is where you can shine.


Cohort 1 has recently completed their innovation, creating and implementing projects to generate positive change for our future. Examples of their work include the implementation of Rainbow Room stairs and a bespoke Trust networking service.

There are many benefits for becoming part of the 100 leaders programme. As well as an investment in yourself, it is a great opportunity to make lasting changes to our Trust. However, it is worth noting some of the standout positives of joining our cohort…

  • The chance to develop both personally and professionally

  • Network across Trust departments widening your contacts. This has been a big positive element of 100 leaders, we’re aiming to break down silos and encourage discussion across departments

  • For Pack Leaders: You will have direct access to an executive sponsor for mentorship, this includes regular touchpoints and a mid-point showcase 

  • You will get an opportunity to make real changes within the Trust and see the impact your projects are having 



On the application you will get a chance to apply for a pack leader role. As well as leading your group, you will be the point of contact for your project and receive training and guidance. For more information on the roles and what they entail, please consult the information pack.


The projects generated from this programme not only go on to improve the services for staff but patients also. Excellence is our standard and this initiative helps us to ensure that we are achieving that through investing in our future.
