Fire on Bollo Lane, Acton

London Fire Brigade are in attendance and the police have put in place a cordon for safety. Any property within the cordon has been evacuated.

Residents who have been evacuated are advised to arrange alternative accommodation if they are able to.  

If it is not possible to arrange for alternative accommodation, residents are advised to make their way to the Everyone Active Centre on Acton High Street where council officers will be on hand to help.

Residents outside of the cordon are advised to keep windows and doors closed while the fire is tackled.

Further updates will be posted as and when they are identified.

Update – 1 February, 11.15pm

Acton Town station is currently closed with disruption to the Piccadilly and District lines – please check Transport for London for updates.

There may also be some local road closures while the cordon remains in place.

Update – 1 February, 11.35pm

The fire is now under control and residents who have been evacuated are able to return home but will need to be safely escorted by police or council officers.  Please go to outside the Ark Acton Academy, Gunnersbury Lane, London W3 8EY for safe escort.

Some local road closures may remain in place while dampening of the fire source continues and Acton Town station remains closed.

Residents are still advised to keep doors and windows closed.

Update – 2 February, 8.20am

The fire is out and all emergency services have left the scene and the cordon has been removed. All evacuated households have been allowed to return home.

There are no road closures in place but there is some disruption on the District line – please check Transport for London for updates.
