Careers Day prepares students for life in the services
One student said: “This event was interesting and provided us with a lot of important information. All the service representatives were friendly and easy to talk to and they were very open and willing to answer all our questions. It was great to be so interactive with people who actually work in the profession that we want to get into, and who know what it’s really like.”
The Public Services course is run at Havering Sixth Form, Epping Forest and Hackney campuses. The course is designed to make you a more attractive candidate for employment in many of the uniformed public services such as the Police, Fire Brigade, Ambulance Service, British Army, Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, or Prison Service.
