Mole Valley District Council Sponsors Informative Course for Start-ups – Latest news from Mole Valley District Council

Start-up businesses do not want to miss out on an opportunity to attend a free virtual interactive workshop which will guide attendees through the process of establishing a comprehensive business plan. Sponsored by Mole Valley District Council and run by The Business Hothouse, this two hour online course takes place on Wednesday 30 March 2022.
This free-to-attend virtual and interactive session run by The Business Hothouse is made possible thanks to funding from Mole Valley District Council (MVDC), the European Regional Development Fund and HM Government. It will be delivered by The Business Hothouse’s start-up expert, Paul Dallibar, from 10am-12pm on 30 March.
A sound business plan is integral to any start-up business and there are essential elements that must be included that will help provide sufficient information for an underwriter to consider agreeing to finance a business, or a grant fund manager agreeing to award a business grant, for example.
The boot camp is open to any resident aged 18 years or over, and the workshop will be immediately followed by a Q&A session, again led by Paul Dallibar.
Councillor Clayton Wellman, MVDC’s Cabinet Member for Sustainable Economy and Security, said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring another of these highly informative workshops run by The Business Hothouse to support our local entrepreneurs and fledgling businesses to get off the ground and achieve their ambitions.”
The Business Hothouse is a government-funded support programme that offers support to pre-start and established businesses in the Coast-to-Capital area in the form of workshops, 1-2-1 mentoring sessions and grant funding.
