Hartlepool Business Week set for launch

The first ever Hartlepool Business Week will take place later this month and businesses across the town are being encouraged to get involved.

Organised by Hartlepool Borough Council’s Economic Growth Team with a range of partners, the week will run from May 23rd-27th.

It aims to raise awareness of the advice and support available to existing businesses to help them grow and thrive, whilst also being a source of information for people looking to launch new start-ups.

There will be a wide range of sessions throughout the week covering a variety of topics, including finance, staff and recruitment, digital marketing, intellectual property, winning public sector contracts and international trade.

Beverley Bearne, Hartlepool Borough Council’s Assistant Director Development and Growth, said: “We are really proud to be launching the first ever Hartlepool Business Week and would like to thank our many partners for their support in making it possible.

“The last few years have been an incredibly challenging time for local businesses, not least because of the challenges posed by the pandemic.

“Hartlepool Business Week provides an opportunity for businesses to look ahead and access support that they may not know exists.”
