Care home hosts food bank – Coventry City Council
Residents and staff at Clarendon House Care Home will be joining forces on Friday (20 May) to turn the home’s car park into a food bank for the afternoon.
They will be distributing dried and tinned goods on the day along with a packed takeaway meal for tea time prepared by the kitchen staff and residents.
Doors open from 4pm-6pm.
As the pop-up food bank coincides with Dementia Awareness Week, they will also be distributing literature from the Alzheimer’s Society.
To show your support, please spread the word – if you know anyone in need, please direct them to the home.
You can also donate tinned and non-perishable food items, such as pasta, baked beans, tinned fish, and long-life milk. Feel free to drop them off at Clarendon House in Birmingham Road, Allesley, any time until the event.
Please note, there will be social distancing and face coverings on the day.
