Greystone Bridge near Tavistock to be closed for essential repairs

“This is the earliest opportunity that we’ve had to carry out this essential repair work. As this medieval bridge is listed, consent is required to work on it and the repairs that are needed can only be done at this time of year when water levels are lower. The emergency measures that were installed last winter have ensured that the bridge has been protected and hasn’t sustained any further damage over the past few months.”
