Elon Musk asked his followers on Sunday if they wanted him to resign as head of Twitter amid ongoing controversies.
“Should you ask me to resign as the head of Twitter?” Musk wrote that he would abide to the results of the poll.

It is not clear who will replace Musk, or when he might step down as CEO of the company.
Within 30 minutes, the poll had received more that two million votes. Musk was slightly favored by the results. At the time this poll was published, 56.7% of respondents had voted “yes” for Musk’s question.
Musk also tweeted the results of the poll in a separate tweet. posted: “Be careful what your wish is, for you might get it.”
