Sam Bankman-Fried OK With Extradition to the USA Report

Sam Bankman Fried has consented that he be extradited the US. The New York Times reportedMonday, citing a lawyer representing the founder of FTX.

Bankman-Fried had indicated to the Bahamas court last Wednesday that he wanted to keep the choice open to fight extraditionAfter a difficult week in Bahamian prison, it appears that he has reversed course. According to The New York Times Jerone Roberts, Bankman-Fried’s lawyer in Bahamas, stated that he is now ready to be extradited.

Insider was informed by a source familiar with Bankman Fried’s plans that the former crypto executive was open for return to the US.

Bankman-Fried has been held at Fox Hill Prison since his arrest earlier this month. 

It is not clear what Bankman-Fried will do next before the Bahamas court and when he would travel to the USA. A hearing earlier on MondayAfter initially reporting that he had stanced against extradition, he did nothing to resolve the questions. he would submitto the process of returning home.

Last week, a criminal indictment in New York Federal Court revealed that Bankman-Fried was charged with multiple counts of conspiracy and wire fraud.
