Dr Arthur Rubenstein
The Executive Vice President of the University of Pennsylvania for the Health System and Dean of its School of Medicine from 2001 to 2011, Arthur Rubenstein, MBBCh is Professor, Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology at the Raymond and Ruth Perelman School of Medicine at U Penn. Dr Rubenstein previously served as Dean of Mount Sinai School of Medicine and was Chairman of the Department of Medicine at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. An internationally-renowned endocrinologist, recognised for ground-breaking research in diabetes and author of more than 350 publications, Dr Rubenstein is the recipient of many awards and prizes, including the highest honour of the Association of American Physicians, the George M. Alysia Valoras
An engineer by training, Alysia has an incredibly poignant yet inspirational and necessary personal message to share about loss, grief and hope after losing her teenage daughter to suicide. Based in Boston USA, The Valoras family story has been the subject a CBS news feature which has guarded significant national attention. Interest in suicide prevention and mental health. Terry Rubenstein
The founder of IHEART and co-author of the IHEART Curriculum, Terry is widely recognised as a leading thinker, educator and speaker in the field of mental health and resilience. For almost 15 years she has taught and impacted countless people through her uplifting training seminars, writings and online talks and is the author of the ground-breaking book Exquisite Mind as well as The Peach Who Thought She Had to Be a Coconut, a series of essays on the power of thought and innate resilience. In her role as Head of Education at IHEART, Terry steers the educational direction and strategy of all programmes and courses that the organisation delivers
