Hikvision and Eagle Eye Networks Deliver a Seamless and Secure Cloud Video Surveillance Solution

Eagle Eye - HikvisionHoofddorp and Amsterdam, the Netherlands – Hikvision, the world’s leading supplier of innovative video surveillance products and solutions and Eagle Eye Networks, the leading global provider of cloud-based video surveillance solutions, have embarked on a technology partnership to deliver customers a seamless and cyber-secure cloud video surveillance solution.

Eagle Eye’s Camera Cyber Lockdown blocks cameras from communicating with the internet, blocks attacks from reaching cameras, and will not allow any trojans ex-filtration. The Camera Cyber Lockdown feature greatly increases the security of video surveillance systems, reduces risk, and minimises camera maintenance.

While the Eagle Eye Cloud Security Camera VMS already works with hundreds of manufacturers’ cameras, the Hikvision partnership gives a valuable extra benefit. This is especially useful to customers who don’t have the IT resources to constantly monitor and address cyber threats entering their network through devices attached to their surveillance system.

“We are also excited about the partnership with Eagle Eye Networks”, states Jens Berthelsen, Global Partner Alliance Manager for Hikvision Europe. “Eagle Eye Networks is leading in secure, cloud-based video surveillance solutions and the combination of our cameras with their cloud provides great scalability and price/performance.”

Eagle Eye Networks’ investments to build a global footprint of data centres has enabled its customers to easily deploy surveillance video systems at their sites around the world while maintaining consistency and cyber security.

Hikvision and Eagle Eye Networks are also working together to integrate HD-TVI camera technology into the Eagle Eye Security Cloud VMS. This will enable customers and channel partners to reduce operating costs by utilising existing coaxial cabling while upgrading to high-definition video surveillance systems.

Rishi Lodhia, Eagle Eye Networks’ Managing Director for EMEA, is leading the Eagle Eye Networks’ growth programme in the region and noted the extraordinary alignment between Hikvision’s and Eagle Eye Networks’ reseller programmes. “The Hikvision dealers are an extremely capable group of industry professionals and they’re very attentive to cyber security and GDPR compliance. The use of Hikvision cameras and Turbo recorders with Eagle Eye Networks’ cloud bridges and subscriptions is a future-proof marriage.”

Both Eagle Eye and Hikvision will be exhibiting at Essen Security 2018 at stands 7C24 and 5C38. Alternatively visit: www.een.com and: www.hikvision.com.
