Berserk Computers Ltd donates £2,000 to South Ayrshire Women’s Aid

Local computer repair firm, Berserk Computers in Ayr, has donated £2,000 to South Ayrshire Women’s Aid to support vital services in the community.

All money donated goes towards providing support and temporary accommodation to women and children who have experienced domestic abuse across South Ayrshire.

Lhyam Sumal, Principal Director at Berserk Computers, said: “We believe in giving back to our community and 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone, but in more so for victims of domestic abuse. When we discussed supporting a local charity, it was a stark reminder of how close to home these issues are and can go completely unnoticed by friends or relatives. We were delighted to give this support to South Ayrshire Women’s Aid to continue their fantastic work.”

Shirley Middleditch, Manager at South Ayrshire Women’s Aid, said: “We really appreciate Berserk Computers support and this donation will help tremendously to ensure the women, children and young people we work with receive the help and support they deserve to allow them to move on with their lives. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity.”

South Ayrshire Women’s Aid provides refuges, safe houses and support for women and children impacted by domestic abuse.
