Johnson Law Group Expands: Six New Appointments Fuel Continued Growth

Consumer Litigation Law Firm, Johnson Law Group, has strengthened its team with the key appointments of five new paralegals along with a chartered legal executive at its office in Manchester.

Tyler Keegan, a chartered legal executive, brings a wealth of expertise in civil litigation, indemnity, insurance, credit hire, and personal injury to Johnson Law Group. With a career spanning back to 2017, Tyler has held positions at DAC Beachcroft and Keogh’s, honing his skills in civil litigation. Notably, he offered invaluable guidance on unfair contractual terms and consumer rights to the lead lawyer in Armstead v RSA, a case elevated to the Supreme Court with a landmark judgment delivered in February 2024.

At Johnson Law Group, Tyler Keegan’s primary focus will be on the diesel emission group litigation, specializing in matters concerning consumer rights and contractual misrepresentation.

In addition to Tyler’s arrival, JLG has welcomed five new paralegals to the team: Alexandra Rankin, Anastasis Michailas, Moaz Irfan, Saima Zahid, and Maria Christou. Together, they are providing crucial support on various group action claims, such as the diesel emissions claim, easyJet data breach claim, and mis-sold PCP car finance claim.

Establishing its first UK office in February 2020, for the last 30 years Johnson Law Group has been a leader in the US legal mass-tort market and brings a wealth of experience into the UK market, offering legal advice and assistance in a variety of practice areas, from Pension Mis-selling claims to Data Breach claims, Vehicle Emissions Claims and Mis-sold car finance PCP.

Over the past four years, JLG’s client base has increased significantly, with over 200,000 claimants in the diesel emissions group action alone.

Jamie Patton, Managing Director at Johnson Law Group, said: “It’s an exciting time to join Johnson Law Group, and we’re delighted to have Tyler on board, alongside our cohort of paralegals, who are providing an invaluable service to our clients. As our client base grows, so does our team, with plans for further expansion in the next six months.”
