PineBridge Benson Elliot names Nina Meier to enhance coverage across Northern European markets

PineBridge Benson Elliot (PBBE), the pan-European real estate private equity specialist, has appointed Nina Meier as Vice President, based in London.

In her new role, Ms. Meier will be responsible for sourcing, executing, and managing investments across Northern Europe, with a strong emphasis on Germany, the Nordics, and the Netherlands. She will also oversee asset performance and reporting as part of PBBE’s investment team.

Ms. Meier previously spent more than six years in the Investments team at a private equity real estate firm, most recently as Associate Director. During that time, she played a key role in building and managing the company’s German logistics platform and led the origination of multiple transactions across logistics, office, and residential sectors.

Her appointment follows the close of PBBE’s sixth fund, Benson Elliot Real Estate Partners VI (“Fund VI” or “the Fund”), which raised €500 million in committed capital in February 2025 to pursue its pan-European real estate equity strategy. With Fund VI, PBBE has secured over €4 billion across its fund series, in addition to €650 million in co-investment capital, representing more than two decades of investment success across European markets.

Joseph De Leo, Managing Partner at PBBE, commented: “Nina’s appointment reinforces our commitment to expanding our coverage and capabilities across Northern Europe. Her track record in the German market, combined with her ability to bridge origination and asset management, makes her a strong addition to our team.”

James Jakeman, Senior Partner, at PBBE, continued: “With deep experience in both acquisitions and asset management, Nina brings a proven ability to originate investments and cultivate strong industry relationships. We are excited to see the contribution she will make as we continue to grow our platform.”

PBBE is led by Marc Mogull, Chairman and Chief Investment Officer, alongside Managing Partner Joseph De Leo and Senior Partner James Jakeman. The team has established a 23-year track record with 81 investments across 14 European countries.
