Acting Office, the UK’s first AI-enabled, full enterprise software platform for accountancy practices, has appointed Mark McNee, formerly EMEA chief at Frontline Accounting, as its new Commercial Director.
With more than 15 years’ experience across leading accountancy and fintech firms, including Intuit and Dext, McNee will play a central role in accelerating Acting Office’s growth strategy. His remit includes driving sales, supporting market expansion and strengthening the company’s commercial footprint.
In addition, McNee will draw on his extensive background in AI and SaaS solutions to advance the capabilities of Acting Office’s platform. The software provides a comprehensive suite of tools designed to meet the evolving needs of large accountancy practices, offering functionality such as AML and compliance onboarding, cloud systems integration and secure authentication within a single environment.
The appointment follows Acting Office’s recent accreditation by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). The recognition confirms the company’s position as a trusted supplier within the institute’s Business Management Software and Financial Products Software categories.
