Stephen Hobson Appointed Director of Business at Datacentreplus
Datacentreplus is pleased to announce that Stephen Hobson has been appointed as Director of Business at Datacentreplus.
Since joining the company back in 2017, Stephen has been instrumental in driving the business forward, enhancing the company’s brand, improving customer experience and bringing onboard some very well-known brands, many of them iconic in Manchester.
Stephen has more than a decade’s experience within the digital and hosting sector and has implemented a number of strategies and processes that have allowed the business to compete at the highest level to support our customers.
In his new position, Stephen will take a strategic role to facilitate the growth of the company and the team to further support new and existing clients.
Stephen plays a very active role in the business community in and around Greater Manchester and has helped to increase the growth and presence of the company’s brand across the North West. Additionally, he is well-known for supporting other businesses and most recently set up initiatives to support businesses that have been impacted by Covid-19.

Datacentreplus is a data centre and hosting company based near MediaCityUK in Manchester. It has 4,000 sq ft of hosting capacity, being able to accommodate over 5,000 servers and has customers from all over the UK. Since it was set up in 2015, the company has developed an enviable reputation for reliability (‘uptime’) and personal service.
The facility is 100% privately owned by Manchester entrepreneur, Mashukul Hoque, and represents a major investment in the area, employing a number of highly-skilled engineers and other staff.
