Introducing the new professional register for tutors, assessors, internal and external quality assurers
PD:Verified is a professional register bringing together qualified tutors, assessors, internal and external quality assurers.
Because of their vital role in the learner journey, the aim is to provide these professionals with recognition of their qualified status and ongoing professional development.
The register provides both professional recognition and a membership kitemark, underpinned by a Code of Conduct, and also supports career development which will enhance the learner journey.
All members must meet the criteria set out by PD:Verified, and demonstrate how they maintain their status through continuing professional development (CPD) – this will be showcased on the member’s personal profile for all training providers and employers to see.

PD:Verified supports training professionals globally across fitness and other sectors who may not have the opportunity to gain professional recognition.
Members of PD:Verified will have the opportunity to gain further expertise and competence to deliver training with greater confidence. The online community will have access to new and relevant content through a panel of industry experts, regular webinars and a growing bank of online CPD to ensure their continued career development and progression. In addition they will benefit from a stamp of approval to validate their membership and a bespoke online profile showcasing their achievements.
Training Providers can make their offering more attractive by promoting PD:Verified with a discount to their learners, providing added value. By becoming a PD:Verified Partner or Supporter, Training Providers will also receive complimentary listings of their qualifications on the PD:Portal, an online platform for endorsed training providers to promote their qualifications and training, once they have gained the required endorsement.
Employees of Partners and Supporters will also receive their first year’s membership free, promoting greater staff retention and a commitment to best practice across their teams.
Awarding Organisations are invited to show their affiliation to this new professional register by encouraging their Training Providers to support employees with development and growth through membership, contributing to raising standards across the industry.
Organisations that quality assure training can support learners in their industry by including the requirement for PD:Verified membership in their application process. This would ensure that not only are the tutors, assessors and quality assurers qualified, but that they are also maintaining their ongoing professional development which is monitored throughout their membership.
