Sync Sponsors Manchester Pride 2022

Manchester based tech company, Sync, have announced that they will be supporting Manchester Pride as a named sponsor for this year’s celebration.

Taking place  26th-29th August, festivities such as Equality Marches, The Candlelight Vigil and Superbia Weekend will be a celebration of diversity and inclusion.

Manchester Pride is one of the world’s leading LGBTQ+ events and is the largest festival of its kind in the UK. The event attracts attendees from all over the world and places Manchester at the heart of the celebration. This is cemented by support from local businesses, eager to make a difference and contribute to such an important cause.

Sync’s Commercial Director, Chris Costello, said of the announcement,

“We are proud to be supporting Manchester Pride for another year. The work that they do makes such a difference to those inside and outside of the city, and to know that we can aid the Manchester Pride Charity in making these differences is incredibly important to us.”

“At Sync, we believe that all members of our community deserve respect and equality. That’s why working with Manchester Pride was a no-brainer for us.”

Sync has been operating across the business and education sectors for the past 29 years, and in 2018 they branched out into retail with the launch of the Sync Store right in the heart of Manchester’s city centre, along with considerable investment into a 24/7 e-commerce platform.

Sync recently rebranded from GBM Digital Technologies after a sustained period of growth, most recently increasing turnover from £77M in 2018 to £130M in 2020.

The business has teams across the UK, but the physical three-level Deansgate venue is considered a central Hub – containing a tech shop, Apple service and repair centre, and a training and conference centre.
