For those in it for the long haul, here are some of the longest and toughest OSRS quests.

Quests play a massive role when it comes to Old School Runescape, it is one of the most important part of any OSRS account. They come in all different shapes and sizes, with varying lengths and difficulties. In this article, we are going to be catering to those players who enjoy a challenge. So if you’re wanting to take a break from earning OSRS gold and such, then here is a few choices of the longest quests that the game has to offer.

Recipe for Disaster

We will kick off with the longest quest in the entire game. This mammoth quest is actually made up of 10 sub-quests, and has some hefty requirements for you to have to reach if you are going to attempt it. This includes having to finish a number of quests at master level, and you’ll need to have earned 175 quest points.

So what do you get for the time that you put into it? After all, you shouldn’t have to go through the entire quest for nothing. Well, one of the rewards is the unlocking of the Barrows Gloves. This set of gloves is the best in slot gloves in the whole game. These are an important item to have when you are going into certain PvM locations. It isn’t going to be an easy task though, and you will also have a hard boss battle to deal with at the end.

If you want to get started with this Recipe for Disaster quest, then you will need to head over to the chef in Lumbridge, as he prepares a feast for some important figures in Old School Runescape.

One Small Favour

Have you experienced any of those games where you feel like you are getting trapped in a seemingly never-ending back and forth doing favours to get something in return? That is pretty much what you have to do with One Small Favour.

You will have to deal with being asked to do a small favour, followed by another favour and so on, for what feels like every character you come across. You will be looking to do favours for many different people to help them alleviate any issues that they may have. To participate in the quest, you will need to have reached level 18 Herblore, level 25 Crafting, 30 Smithing and 36 Agility.

For your troubles, you will receive experience lamps that can help you gain 10,000 XP for every lamp. It might not earn you OSRS GP or a Twisted Bow, but you will get quest points from it. If you wish to start this quest, then head on over to Shilo Village to get underway.

Legends’ Quest

This quest is one of the older adventures that the game offers. If you want to gain entrance to the Legends’ Guild, then this is the way to do it. It isn’t going to be an easy task however, as this is an incredibly long quest for you to take on.

You will be going deeper into the Kharazi Jungle, where you will be getting to know it’s inhabitants. You’ll need to have earned 107 quest points to participate, and prepare yourself for it’s master level of difficulty. We also have to deal with the fact that there’s several quests that you need to complete beforehand.

When you have also reached level 50 in Strength and Thieving, as well as 52 Mining, you can then head over to the Legends guild to begin.

Monkey Madness II

The follow up to the Monkey Madness quest is a grandmaster level adventure that will see you traversing five chapters and a number of bosses. You will need to be prepared for a lot of combat and be savvy with solving puzzles. You also need high stats to be able to participate in this sequel.

Chapter 2 is inhabited with a boss that will give you a hard time if you go in unprepared, and the third chapter sees you having to solve a very hard puzzle. The fact that the latter makes you start all over again if you fail is another kick in the teeth. When you do finally reach the latter stages of the quest, you will be confronted by a final boss that has multiple phases. It’s last phase in particular is hard to get past unless you are truly prepared.

To prepare for these quests, remember that you do have the option to find cheap OSRS gold for sale. If you do buy OSRS gold, then make sure that you find a reputable vendor to do so. This is a great way to make sure that you can take on the challenges that await you in these quests.
