For those players out there, who have been looking to challenge themselves when playing Old School Runescape, then there are certainly some choices for you to go through when it comes to questing. In this article, we will be taking a look at what quests you can take on to truly test your mettle as an OSRS player. That said, if you do need to find somewhere that has OSRS gold for sale so that you can buy OSRS gold to get you through these quests, it would be completely understandable. So grab your Twisted Bow, a few potions, and delve into the hardest quests in OSRS.

Mourning’s End Part II

The second part of Mourning’s End more than earns its place on this list. In fact, the mere sight of the quest’s title is enough to make some players roll their eyes and take a deep exhale. You would certainly be hard pressed to find players that actively enjoyed this quest. If you want to try this quest for yourself, then go to the Elven Lands, where you need to go to Lleyta and talk to Arianwyn

There’s not much to fault about the quest itself from a design point of view, but it also presents one heck of a challenge with the light puzzle in which you have to reflect light to certain pedestals so that you can progress. To get through this, get your agility past at least level 65, so you can deal with the ledges that you can potentially fall off of. Praying melee is also a massive part of this quest, so any gear that gives you a high prayer bonus is going to be very advantageous.

Monkey Madness II

You are probably going to start seeing a common theme with the quests in this list, as those that are listed are follow ups to previous quests. This is a grandmaster quest in which you will be trying to overcome tough puzzles and applying combat as well. To begin this sequel quest, you are going to want to make sure that your slayer and crafting skills are at level 70.

The likes of Kruk and other monsters can cause a lot of issues for you if you go into the fight unprepared. With a variety of attacks that hit you hard, you can be swept aside with ease. This is just one example of what you’ll face across the five chapters, and reaching Kruk requires you to survive the ominous tunnels that you need to traverse.

When you get to the third chapter, this is when you’ll be faced with a tough puzzle that you’ll need to begin all over again if you get caught. Getting past this and to the end will eventually lead you to the last boss, which is certainly no picnic and is classed as one of the toughest bosses in the entire game.

Dragon Slayer II

Remember back when you had a free-to-play account and Dragon Slayer was the toughest quest you could face? Well why not take on its significantly more challenging sequel in the form of Dragon Slayer II?

This is considered by many to be the hardest quest in the game. It doesn’t help that even the requirements just to start it are difficult enough. You need your skills to be exceptionally high level, and so will your combat stats. Perhaps the worst part of it is that you need an eye-watering 200 quest points to attempt it.

To get started with this quest, we must first go to the Myths Guild. Here you can check by the front door where you can talk to Alec Kincade. Once more, we will be looking for key pieces so this time we can get to Lithkren.

To do this, you are going to be facing off against a number of OSRS bosses, as well as solving puzzle and navigating tough environments. A number of dragons await you as the quest draws to a close, with a true final boss that boasts four faces and a daunting level of 608. This is the hardest quest boss in Old School Runescape, with the potential to one-shot you in more ways than one.

This trilogy of quests is going to certainly keep you busy when playing Old School Runescape. These sequel adventures are going to test you for sure, so stock up on OSRS gold and prepare yourself for chaos as you go head-to-head with the very best that OSRS has to offer.
