“Who wants to live forever?”

“Is it a blessing or a curse?”

Merlin

“Merlin Parnassus was a Real Magician, a Navigator and a herbalist. He was the wizard at King Arthur’s Court. According to Legend, Merlin’s existence ended when he was trapped by Morgana Le Fey in the Crystal Cave. It didn’t end there! This biography shows Merlin has lived for two millennia and is still alive today. This is a work of fiction based on real places and notable historical people.”

Author Quotation “If I could read the minds of the guilty then I would truly become Judge, Jury and executioner.”

Author Bio “Honeysuckle started to take creative writing seriously in 2010, having written many short stories to preserve sanity while working away from home as a computer contractor. She decided that her reasons for writing had been shallow and negative. Applying her fascination with real magic, hypnosis and telepathy, she prepared several plots based on ‘what if’, directed towards medical advances and true justice. Honeysuckle is a bundle of contradictions; she is dreadfully needle-shy and yet gave blood on several occasions. Her imagination is her greatest asset and her worst enemy; she was born with chronic asthma. Some have said her asthma attacks were caused by excitement, or panic; ‘it’s all in the mind’ the professionals said. She has spent significant sums trying to disprove that statement. Having had many psychotherapy sessions in hypnosis, and deeper into past life regressions, she wrote down her observations within hours of each session. She believes all hypnotists should be medically qualified.”

Book Information “Merlin was born in the glades of Mount Parnassus. His natural mother died in childbirth. His adopted mother became a Sibyl, a wise woman skilled in herbs and medicine; these were gifts from Gaia, mother Earth. Sibyl was invited to work at the Oracle of Delphi. She became a Pythia, a priestess who made predictions as the Oracle of Delphi. Life for a Pythia was dangerously short due to the heady vapors beneath the Omphalos; Merlin believed these vapors triggered the predictions. In her dying breath, Sibyl prayed to Gaia, ‘Let my child receive your gifts and become your servant.’ When Merlin returned to the Glades to cremate his mother’s body, he dedicated his life to Gaia, and she accepted, promising him ‘a long life learning Real Magic’.”
