The Mysterious Area 51 – All That You Need to Know About

Area 51 is a desert base that is completely off-limits to citizens. It has long been at the centre of a hoax involving alien enthusiasts and ufologists — people who search for unidentified flying objects. They suspect that somewhere inside Area 51’s large desert expanse is a closely secured secret lab where the government stores and tests captured alien aircrafts, and perhaps even aliens. This assumption serves as a front for alien research and has been fully mythologized by mass media through the years, being ingrained in alien mythology.

Here in this article, ufodaily.com brings you a detailed account of information on Area 51 and the paranormal myths associated with it.

Why was the Site Constructed?

During the Cold War, the United States and the Soviet Union established Area 51 as a research and production facility for aircraft, including the U-2 and SR-71 Blackbird surveillance planes.

Although it opened in 1955, the CIA recognized its presence in August 2013.

President Obama is the first US president to officially refer to Area 51 four months after the CIA’s disclosure.

Area 51 is most certainly host to the surveillance program of the country. Since the 1950s, it has been the assembly, testing, and eventual deploying of some of the most significant spying aircraft in American history. According to experts, it is possible that the Air Force and US intelligence agencies will continue to work on next-generation aircraft and other arms of war in this region.

The Secrecy of Area 51 gives birth to Theories

UFO Daily believes that after that, of course, it is reasonable that all the answers to Area 51’s mysteries have been concealed. But because we don’t know what really happens at Area 51, this has created the breeding ground for many myths and assumptions about the true purpose of the site. These misconceptions have led many Americans to feel that they want to know what is going on there.

Is Area 51 home to Aliens and Flying Saucers?

The secrecy around Area 51 has contributed to the growth of many conspiracy theories.

The most prominent storey is that the location contains an alien spaceship and its pilots’ remains, which crashed in Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947. According to the US government, no aliens were present and the wrecked craft was a weather balloon.

Some claim to have seen UFOs hovering above or around the site, while others claim to have been abducted by aliens and subjected to experiments before being brought back to Earth.

The Interview of Robert Lazar can’t be Overlooked

In 1989, Robert Lazar rose to fame with the interview he gave to a radio station in Las Vegas. Lazar asserts that he served at Area 51 and is certain that he is well aware of the facility’s covert extraterrestrial operations. He said it was a research facility for extraterrestrials and, in reality, Lazar claimed the field was home to alien aircraft. This was the first time Area 51 was brought to the public’s attention.

He mentioned working on propulsion systems for “nine flying saucers of extraterrestrial nature” in an interview with reporter George Knapp at the time.

Additionally, a documentary titled “Bob Lazar: Area 51 and Flying Saucers” was published in December 2018. He goes into more depth in the documentary on his arguments about what occurred when he served at Area 51 and how his life has been since.

Lazar’s allegations may have solidified the base’s relationship with aliens and prompted others to share their own experiences and hypotheses.

U-2 Planes Testing & UFO Allegations

While myths have been discredited, the base continues to be linked to aliens and UFOs. The aircraft travelling in, out, and across the base contribute to some of the excitement in the city.

The region reported UFO sightings during the 1950s, about the period the U-2 planes were being tested. At the moment, the program’s confidentiality precluded Air Force leaders from openly refuting UFO allegations.

UFO Daily would like to let you know that people wishing to tour Area 51 and hoping to see green alien bodies spread out on cold metal tables and parked flying saucers would be disappointed, as officials would almost certainly not let anybody into the secretive facility.
