One of the world’s leading franchises in children’s computing education, ComputerXplorers, is set for an exciting relaunch in the United States.
ComputerXplorers provides engaging, hands-on technology classes for children aged between three and 16 years. These sessions are delivered through in-school lessons, after-school clubs, and holiday camps, offering children the opportunity to explore a wide range of modern technologies and platforms, ensuring they are well-prepared for a technology-driven future.
Initially founded in the US in 1984, Stuart Harley, the current CEO of ComputerXplorers, took the helm in 2021, after joining as a franchisee for Southampton in the UK in 2019.
The brand has experienced significant growth within the UK, largely due to its effective turnkey business model, generous start-up support, and a clear goal to provide high-quality computing education for all children.
Since 2021, the UK arm of the franchise has achieved a remarkable 300% increase in turnover, with the number of franchisees growing from 12 to 32. The brand has also expanded into four new international markets, with further countries expected to join this year.
In light of this ongoing success, Stuart has now decided to relaunch ComputerXplorers in the US, aiming to replicate the achievements seen in the UK.
The US relaunch will begin with ComputerXplorers’ participation in the two-day Franchise Expo South 2024 at the Fort Lauderdale Convention Centre, Florida. The team will be available at Stand 216 to discuss the brand and the numerous opportunities it presents.
