The scent of burnt coffee never fully leaves the kitchenette, and VFX artists are working overtime to render farms humming behind soundproof walls. The same building is darker in May 2026. Quieter, but not quite empty.

Entire departments have undergone reorganization. After two weeks of compositing, some photos now return from a server in less than an hour. Without much fanfare, the “Sora moment,” as industry insiders have begun to refer to it, has arrived and is changing production schedules more quickly than anyone in Hollywood anticipated.
