East Sussex UK, November 22nd 2022: What do you buy someone who has everything? The annual Christmas dilemma. But this year Plane Character Productions, an East Sussex production company, have made the decision easier for parents. Producing the Let’s Go See series, an entertaining, educational and inspirational animated series that introduces children to the natural and cultural wonders of the world, the company is offering someone a chance to feature in a brand-new episode as a cartoon version of themself. Let’s Go See
The gift of a lifetime
Set to air in 2023, one child (or big child!) at the top of Santa’s good list will be cast as the hero of the story. An exciting and educational present for parents to gift their children, the episode will be broadcast to millions worldwide. And the episode is set to be a hit, with views of the company’s pilot animations already amounting to over a million views.
Aiming to educate kids
With the series aimed at 3- to 6-year-olds, each episode introduces children to different countries and cultures, teaching them about important environmental and inclusivity topics. The educational ethos behind the brand uses children’s three favourite media – animations, apps and books – to entertain, educate and inspire children and teach them to embrace difference and inclusion. Available to download in Apple and Google Play stores, the free Let’s Go See App is an accessible and affordable way to entertain, educate and inspire kids in school or in the comfort of their homes.
Recently, Plane Characters Productions have begun fundraising efforts to grow the Lets Go See brand. Any money invested will support their mission to entertain and inspire children, whilst allowing investors to purchase a little piece of animation history. If you are looking to invest and enter the draw to become a cartoon hero, visit their crowdfunding page.
Plane Characters Productions
Plane Characters Productions Limited was founded in 2020 by Mike Midgen and Rob Johnson with the aim of animating the children’s travel series called “Let’s Go See”. The animations are based on the successful (85,000+ books sold) original “Amazing Adventures of Pilot Ollie and Pilot Polly” stories written by Captain Rob Johnson. With the pilot and writer having travelled to all four corners of the world, the stories were originally written for his own children, explaining where he’d been whilst away at work. The extended team now includes a BAFTA award winning production studio, including expert animators, scriptwriters, licensing, merchandising, and marketing professionals.
