Smart Reporting is addressing the challenges of rapidly evolving medical knowledge and increasing workloads in healthcare with a pioneering solution. They have integrated large language model (LLM) technology into their SmartReports software, harnessing the AI power of Amazon Bedrock. This development is set to revolutionise the reporting process in healthcare, aiming to improve patient outcomes. A preview of this groundbreaking solution will be featured at RSNA in Chicago, with its release in the US market expected in the first half of 2024.

Radiology professionals face the challenges of inconsistent manual reports and unstructured data that hinder effective analysis and treatment planning. Through the integration with Amazon Bedrock, SmartReports will enhance radiology reporting by offering:

A considerable reduction in time and effort for report creation, facilitated by automatic impression suggestion.
Improved efficiency and quality in research and organisational tasks with structured, machine-readable data, enhancing clinical decision-making data quality by 60% and report accuracy and detail by 150%. [1, 2] Studies have indicated that structured reporting in pathology can reduce patient mortality by 4.3% [3]. These advanced features will be seamlessly integrated into Smart Reporting’s product range, allowing US customers to utilise AI assistance in their SmartReports from 2024.
