This is the moment a string of terrified celebs took on Thorpe Park’s most thrilling ride yet – and had the entire experience captured on camera.
A host of famous faces were put through their paces by the new The Walking Dead: The Ride, and barely emerged to tell the tale.
After stepping off the UK’s first ever themed rollercoaster, singer and presenter Stacey Solomon gasped: “That was so scary, but so cool. I genuinely feel sorry for my dad, who I dragged through!”
While Will Mellor, who rode alongside funnyman Johnny Vegas, asked cameramen to feel his heart rate to make sure he was within safe levels.
The creepy ‘coaster recreates the post-apocalyptic world of The Walking Dead, which has been a global TV success since 2010.
As well as a twisting rollercoaster track, there are other spooky surprises in store for riders – including a few frights from resident zombies – or ‘walkers’ as they’re known in The Walking Dead.
It also contains a replica of the show’s iconic watch tower, and promises to be ‘the ultimate test of riders’ mettle’.
