MARNI GRAMS RELEASES “BOY TURN MAN” MUSIC VIDEO
[LONDON, ENGLAND] Today, UK Grime artist Marni Grams (aka Grams) has released his official music video for his latest single ‘Boy Turn Man.’
The video, shot by FlexUK, shows familiar scenes and acts seen through the eyes of a young youth and adult Grams.
The South-London rapper displays witty lyricism, musicality and panache on the track, produced by Henry Blackbeats. It features a heavy baseline and successfully manages to blur the lines between hip-hop, drill and grime.
Speaking on the music video, Grams said: “I’d been dropping tunes for a hot minute, but people wanted to see my face. What I like about this video was that it is something authentic and represents me and where I’m coming from.”
Grams has been teasing new music on social media for months. In June this year, he released ‘Forgot About Grams, which pays homage to Dr. Dre and Eminem’s 2000 recording of ‘Forgot About Dre.’
Although that beat is familiar, Grams’s revamped version breathed new life into a hip-hop classic.
‘Boy Turn Man’ is available to buy now from all major streaming platforms, including the iTunes store.
