‘Better Boards’ Webinar Series
With 30 years of experience in the corporate world at director level, governance and boardroom expert, John Harte is combining his knowledge into an informative webinar series on the elements of board leadership. The series entitled, ‘Better Boards’ will provide insightful, practical sessions on understanding what good board leadership looks like; as well as what could go wrong, combined with solutions on how to prevent things from going wrong. The series aims to help individuals who work with, on, and for boards to better understand the practice of strong board management and leadership. It will also focus on addressing the gap between theory and practice for board leaders in the UK.

‘Better Boards’ will consist of two free, one-hour webinars on 7th of June 2022:
1. The Effective Chair
The second session will focus on the evolving role of the Chair, as well as emerging thinking on what high performance from an effective board chair looks like. It will provide information as to what could potentially go wrong, as well as strategies on enabling effective performance from your board chair.
‘The Effective Chair’ will take place on Tuesday the 7th of June, from 07h45 to 09h00 (BST).
2. How to Get the Best Out of the Company Secretary
The third and final instalment of the webinar series will cover what high performance looks like in this role, as well as the evolving demands associated alongside. It will provide implementable tips to help maximise the efficacy of the role of company secretary.
The final session will take place on Tuesday the 7th of June, from 16h45 to 18h00 (BST).
