Rafael Nadal’s Great White

The tennis star Rafael Nadal gets to enjoy a sweet escape from sport on his Sunreef 80 Power superyacht, which he purchased in June 2020. The previous owner of a Monte Carlo Yachts 76 named Beethoven, Nadal has been open about his love of yachting over the years, telling Boat International, “Because I have a yacht, I am able to forget about everything and get away from that tiring stress. I do have a real passion for [superyachts]. It is rare that I see a superyacht from a distance, and I don’t know its name. I know them all!”

Billy Joel’s Vendetta

Billy Joel has owned several yacht’s but the Vendetta is certainly one of the best. The classic commuter yacht was designed by Doug Zurn and replicates the classic gentleman’s commuter yachts popularised in the 1920s. Joel is known to use the yacht to run from his home in Long Island to New York City to perform in concerts.

Richard Branson’s Necker Belle

Named after his island hideaway, Necker Island, Richard Branson’s Necker Belle is a 32 metre catamaran superyacht designed for partying with a huge sundeck, water toys and accommodations for guests. Branson sold the Necker Belle to an undisclosed buyer back in 2018, but this beautiful beast is likely to be still out on the water for someone who wants to live a bit of the luxurious life of an entrepreneur to enjoy.

Steven Spielberg’s Seven Seas

Owned by legendary Hollywood director Steven Spielberg, the 86-metre yacht known as Seven Seas was released by Dutch builder Oceanco in 2010 with an interior and exterior styling by Italian design house Nuvolari Lenard. Seven Seas can reach a maximum speed of 20 knots and can accommodate 12 guests.

J.K. Rowling’s Amphitrite

Reportedly the controversial Harry Potter author purchased classic superyacht Amphitrite back in January 2016. Once owned by Johnny Depp, it seemed like J.K. Rowling didn’t keep it for very long. The yacht was listed for sale in September of the same year of purchase with an asking price of 17.5 million and sold in July 2017.

Giorgio Armani’s Main

Giorgio Armani designed his own superyacht himself. At 65 metres, Main is one of the largest yachts built in Italy, with a dark green hull colour and accommodation for up to 12 guests. It also has an indoor gym, stateroom, cinema and hot tub.

Bono and The Edge’s Cyan

U2 members Bono and The Edge share ownership of the yacht Cyan which features an outdoor cinema screen. At 48.71 metres, this yacht was launched by the Italian builder Codescasa back in 1997 but has been kept in fantastic condition ever since. It’s now available to charter with Burgess so if you’ve got the cash, you can live like a Rockstar.

Leonardo DiCaprio’s Topaz

Actor Leonardo DiCaprio doesn’t own his superyacht, instead the star prefers a super yacht charter and Topaz is the one he goes for when he wants a break. Reportedly costing 3,750,000 to charter the boat for a week, he’s hosted many a party on this boat including an ‘80s themed gala inspired by working on 2013’s “The Wolf of Wall Street” with guests that included Orlando Bloom and Jamie Foxx.

P Diddy bought his superyacht Oasis for $72 million from the executive chairman of Google. It includes a nightclub on board but also an AquaGlide waterslide that’s worth $1,669. At around 195 feet long, he’s hosted parties with many celebrity guests including Kanye West, Kim Kardashian and Beyonce.

Beyonce and Jay-z’s Galactica Star

Speaking of Beyonce, she rents a super yacht of her own with husband Jay-Z. This $42 million yacht is rented for $900 million per week. Onboard there’s a hot tub and pool, a beach club turned cinema and can entertain up to 12 guests overnight. It’s also one of the fastest yachts in its class.

Rihanna’s Latitude

Rihanna loves to rent Latitude when she wants to spend time in the French Rivera. This 172-foot super yacht has five decks, a beach club, sky lounge and six double staterooms. Chartering at around $300,000 per week, it’s certainly fit for a queen like the pop star.
