Musk Threatens To Sue Twitter Employees Who Leak Confidential Information

According to reports, Elon Musk threatened to sue “few” Twitter employees for leaking confidential information to media outlets.

Zoë Schiffer of Platformer obtained a copy of the email on SaturdayHowever, she did not post the document online as Twitter “Twitter is doing everything possible to catch sources,” she tweeted.

According to Schiffer, Musk tweeted that Musk wrote in the email “As demonstrated by the many detailed leaked Twitter information, a few employees at our company continue their actions contrary to the company’s interests and in contravention of their NDA.”

He added: “This will be said only once: If you clearly and deliberately violate the NDA that you signed when you joined, you accept liability to the full extent of the law & Twitter will immediately seek damages.” 

According to the email staff had until Saturday, at 5 p.m. PT to sign a promise. 

Insider was also told by a Twitter source that Musk had sent the email via Twitter to staff. 

One Twitter userQuickly, he joked: “Love it that the email asking staffers to keep information from being leaked, got leaked.”

The company is facing several challenges four lawsuits filed by former employeesFollowing their dismissals, they accused it of unfair practices. 

Shannon LissRiordan represented four plaintiffs at the San Francisco media conference. It was presented to a court hearing by five former employees, who claimed that Twitter failed to provide sufficient notice before the mass layoffs.

Many of them offered their support to former colleagues who were unable to attend the event or had families.
