SINP Occupation in-Demand List – FREE UK Press Release Distribution

For the skilled immigrants who are looking to move to Canada with the help of Canada PR visa, Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) is the immigration pathway to move to the province of their own choice. In comparison to the federal government’s express entry program, PNPs have much less strict requirements and thus this makes easier to get the hands-on Canada PR visa. One of the most popular PNP is the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) for Saskatchewan province. For only selecting the skilled immigrants that have experience in the occupation that is in-demand in the province there is a subcategory under SINP – Occupation in-demand. Under which SINP releases an Occupation in-demand list where all the occupations that are in demand in the local labor market of Saskatchewan province are mentioned.

What is the Occupation in-demand Subcategory of SINP?

With the help of Occupation in-demand subcategory, the province of Saskatchewan is able to nominate those skilled immigrants who have work experience in the occupation that is categorized under the National Occupation Category (NOC) skill level 0, A or B and is in-demand in the local labor market of the province. If they are able to meet the requirements of the OID subcategory, then the immigrant is provided with the provincial nomination. Express entry registered candidates who are able to land the provincial nomination, are awarded with 600 CRS points. These many points make sure that the candidate gets the Invitation to Apply (ITA) to apply for the permanent residence (PR) visa to the Immigration, Refugees & Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Immigrants who have not registered under express entry can also apply for SINP, with the help of Occupation in-demand subcategory.

Now, having work experience in the occupation in-demand is a mandatory requirement for express entry and occupation in-demand sub-category under SINP. But having a job offer is not required.

For the express entry and occupation in-demand subcategory registered candidates, SINP uses an In-demand occupation list as the eligibility criteria.

The latest update made by Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) has added 13 new occupations in the list bringing the total to 24 occupations in the Occupation in-demand list for SINP. As a part of the update, nine occupations were also removed from the list.

Out of the listed 24 occupations, nine occupations do not require any licensure or professional status. These nine occupations do require specific educational qualifications.
